"I work with non-profits around the country to assist them in reaching their contributed income potential. As a believer in data, privacy and civility, I created The Thoughtful Approach to help fundraisers to raise their goals but not lose sight of the individuals behind each and every donation. Being thoughtful while using data and technology may seem like an oxymoron but it should be an integral part of how every development professional does his/her job."
Aldervan has an MFA specializing in Development and Marketing from Virginia Tech and undergraduate degree from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. His undergraduate thesis was on “Uses of Guerilla Warfare” – a topic that is handy as a fundraiser. He has created several courses for the Heyman Center at New York
